Words cannot express the eternal gratitude that I have for Paul!!! He is BY FAR THE BEST hair colorist and stylist in Las Vegas!! First of all Paul is always on time, always ready to accommodate whatever changes I need to be done to my schedule with him. I am fortunate enough not to need hair extensions but I will still never even look for another hairstylist but Paul!! Second – Paul always makes sure to listen to what I would like my hair to look like (color and cut) and offers me real and reasonable highly professional opinion! When the color works (I’ve gone from highlights to ombre to one color in the last 4 years with him) Paul actually WRITES DOWN the formula which I have not seen anyone do ever!!! “During COVID I went EIGHT MONTHS without getting my hair done! No color, no cut, NOTHING! It was a mess and being from California, the salons were not open at the time. To get away when I was off work after 10-hour days in testing sites, the husband and I were going to Vegas monthly and I thought, hey, maybe I should just get my hair done here in Vegas. I started by checking out reviews for the Wynn salon since we were staying there at the time. When I read the reviews all the good ones talked about Paul and how amazing he was. I started doing some research.

I called Paul Juma and made an appt for the following month when I was returning to Vegas. BEST. DECISION. EVER.
On my first visit, I went in with an idea of what I wanted, but we talked about it and decided to use my base color to brighten and low light/highlight to a really pretty natural color and he chopped off all my ragged, uneven ends, leaving me with lightweight hair, that styled easily into my standard do or into new styles. I LOVED IT!
Plus, it was a really enjoyable experience. I’m not really that social, but I enjoyed chatting with Paul during my visit and we talked about food, and wine and travel… all of my favorite topics!
The price was right and it was a fantastic experience overall. I know it seems weird to go out of state to get your hair done, but apparently, this is pretty usual for Paul and his clientele, so I’m now on the client list and I see Paul every other month. On the one hand, its kinda crazy to fly or drive to Las Vegas every other month for a hair-do, but besides it giving me an excuse to get my Vegas on every other month, Paul is amazing. He’s taught me how to dry my hair better, how to clean my brushes, how to keep curls with my round brush and the cold button on my hair dryer, introduced me to Olaplex and overall, my hair is healthier, more styleable, and overall awesome.
During our visits, we talk about travel and music and sometimes we watch tv shows or movies or concerts! He shares fruit from his backyard trees with me. I mean, he’s my hair stylist and he’s the best I’ve ever used, but he’s also interesting and entertaining and engaging. I’ve recommended two other friends to him who have seen him as well, and I will recommend him to ANYONE who is looking for the absolute BEST colorist/stylist. NO CHECKERBOARDS!!!!! Oh, and I didn’t mention the hair extensions! He is an absolute EXPERT in hair extensions. He uses micro products and high-quality hair. You simply cannot find a better hair expert. I’ve been seeing Paul for two years and I have never been happier with my hair and I will continue coming to him for all of my hair needs.”

He uses micro beads and they are so well installed I can even put my hair up without seeing any beads! The micro beads are so small you cant even tell. “Paul Juma has been doing my extensions for 3 years now. I drive from AZ to see Paul and bless the day I found him. I had been through all the extension nightmares out there. Glue in wefts that ripped my hair out, leaving long bald strips. And causing so much breakage, that my once shoulder length hair was left, uneven, thin and full of those bald patches. I thought I’d found somebody who could help me, but she placed the cheap extensions far too close to my scalp, which was so painful I couldn’t put my head on the pillow to sleep. The beads she used were too big and the wrong color, so they were very obvious…She had also insisted on layering the front of my hair and did an awful job, it looked terrible… It was at this low point that I found Paul…And honestly didn’t hold out much hope. I really thought I’d have to start wearing a wig…
Not so… Paul is absolutely amazing. One of the nicest people you will ever meet and if you’re lucky enough to have him do your extensions. You will be hooked for life. I left that day, feeling and looking like a million dollars. A new me, with beautiful long extensions that looked 100% natural…. “I wouldn’t go anywhere else for hair extensions! – I met Paul in Santa Monica and used to travel there every two to three months from Vegas to get my extensions done and maintained. I was so excited when I found out he was moving to Vegas. He has been doing my extensions for 6 years, and you couldn’t pay me to have them done anywhere else. The hair lasts about 1-2 years and has to be maintained every 2 to 3 months. If you want beautiful natural looking extensions, you need to visit Paul!”

“You Need Paul – If you are reading these ratings it means you are looking for extensions; you should not waste your time and money going anywhere else. My hair is thinning on top; I have tried everything, even Hairclub where I left $1575. After using Paul, I gained fullness all over my head; the thinning now doesn’t seem so obvious. BLENDING! Paul is the king. My super-short, fine hair was a particular challenge. Styling products complete the process. Unfortunately, my sensitive skin wouldn’t cooperate so I returned to Paul and he happily collaborated with me until we came up with a one-of-a-kind solution for me. “On April 15 Paul Juma of the Wynn Salon cut and colored my hair. In October, 2013 Paul cut my hair for the first time while I was on a weekend visit to Las Vegas. That cut in October was the best haircut I have ever had. I have had haircuts from the best of them—from small, local salons to the stylist who did makeovers for our national television network.
